Hair Care Routine | How I Maintain My Grey Hair

I always get asked how I maintain my grey hair without it being getting brassy so today, I am going to share with you how! Let's just back track a little about my hair — So for the longest time, I have always used box hair dye on my hair, so it was always brassy. But at the time, I didn't know and liked the colour I had (I was young). I was always afraid of bleaching my hair because I thought it would really damage my hair.

Oops, I am back with another haul but this time - I have some exciting things to share! So today, Mecca finally released their holiday gift sets and I went a little crazy. I walked into my local Mecca store and was so excited. Everything was so colourful and there were so many cute holiday sets to look at! I did spent quite a while in there. I asked the girls which holiday set are their favourite so I can check them out. It was very hard not to put everything into my tiny basket but I am so happy with my purchases.

iHerb Haul

Hello my loves! It's been awhile since I last showed you a haul so today I am going to share with you what I have purchased from iHerb. Every single time that iHerb has a sale on Real Technique brushes, I always end up purchasing something! I really enjoying Real Technique brushes, especially their face brushes because I think they're amazing.

September Favourites 2015

It has been a hot minute since I last did a favourites post! I have always struggled to do favourite posts just because I always gravitate towards the same products all the time. So there was no real reason for me to share with you guys or else you will be seeing the same products every single month!

Review: Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

You may all know that the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara was titled my holy grail mascara. But unfortunately, I have quickly found another mascara that has replaced the Too Faced one. The Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara recently launched in Australia and let me just say that I am in LOVE with this mascara. Maybelline has got to be one of my favourite brands for mascara in the drugstore. The main reason for it being is that they are so affordable, especially when they constantly have 50% off sale, so you can purchase their mascara for $10. They have a wide range of different mascaras that I know, are some people's favourite e.g. Maybelline Falsies mascara.

What's in my bag | My go-to lipsticks

Hello my beautiful readers! I am going to give you a quick update on where I have been, so skip this if you don't want to know! I know that no excuse is going to cut it but work has gotten in the way! I do miss blogging very much and will try to make time for it. Although I have not been blogging, that still does not mean that I stopped purchasing new products to try!

When I go to work, I always have some sort of lipstick in my bag that I carry around. These are my top four, must have/no brainer lipsticks that I can easily put on without having to worry about lining my lip with a lip pencil. I did not know how similar they are until I swatched them side by side.

Review: Laura Mercier Silk Creme Moisturising Photo Edition Foundation

I decided to try some Laura Mercier product because Julie from Hauteflashes raves about their products! I first got a sample of the Silk Creme Moisturising Photo Edition foundation (phew, such a long name) and I absolutely fell in love with it. The small sample pot lasted me around 5-6 times because you only need the tiniest amount for a full face.

Holy Grail Moisturiser for Winter

Hello my loves! It's Winter here in Australia and that means cold weather and dry skin. I recently finished the Clinique Moisture Intense Surge moisturiser so I was looking for a different moisturiser on the market. I went to a Kiehl's counter and asked the sales assistant what is a good moisturiser for dry skin. She recommended me the Ultra Facial Cream which is their #1 selling product.

Haul featuring Kat Von D, Kiehls & iHerb

Hello my loves! It seems like it has been forever since I last did a haul. I have been buying items here and there so definitely follow me on Instagram to follow my feed. I thought I would show you what I recently purchased, including iHerb. I have not made an online order in forever so it was really nice to receive a package!

Brush Cleaning: Dr Bronner's Magic Soap

Hello my beautiful readers! I made a post a long time ago, showing you what product I used to wash my make-up brushes (click here to read that post). I used that Daiso brush cleaner for the longest time and since then, I have finally found something better. A big thank you to my friend Cara for recommending it to me. Cara has her own blog too so if you can, please check it out! She's amazing.

Dr Bronner's Magic Soap is made with certified Fair Trade and organic oils. It is vegan, completely biodegradable and vegetable based. It is a multi purpose soap so you can use it as a shampoo, cleanser, brush cleaner, anything really which is great! I believe there are 8 different scents but I have the peppermint one which smells amazing! I purchased mine from David Jones for less than $9 and it comes with 237mL worth of product. So price wise, this is a real winner for me in comparison to the Daiso brush cleaner.

How I use this product is that I wet my make-up brush and then add a few drops onto the brush, swirl it around in the palms of my hand until it lathers up and then rinse it with warm water. The result of this is amazing. I had a stubborn blush brush that had pink stains on it, and no matter how many times I washed it with the Daiso brush cleaner - the stain was still there. However, I was so surprised when the stain was gone after using Dr Bronner's Magic Soap! I was so happy. I honestly highly recommend everyone to purchase this and wash your make-up brushes with it because you'll be amazed! You will never use anything else. It's so simple and easy to use, and the bottle would last you forever!

May Empties

Hello my beautiful readers! Does this photo look familiar? It looks almost the same as my Skincare Routine post because I have used up my products. I've finished quite a bit of skin care products lately so let's jump right into it.

Review: Australis Fresh & Flawless Powder

Hello my beautiful readers! I am going to review one of my holy grail product which is the Australis Fresh & Flawless powder. I am pretty sure that you have seen this in one of my empties post some time before, but I want to write an in depth review on it. So let's get started, shall we?

What's in Mecca's Beauty Loop Box Level 1

Hello my beautiful readers! Today I want to share with you what is in Mecca's Beauty Loop Box. When I received the email from Mecca, I was very surprised that I even got level 1 because I know that I haven't bought that much but clearly, I have. It just shows that everything adds up at the end. From memory I know I bought about 2 Nars blush and a Nars foundation.

My last beauty loop box I received, the box just contained sachets of samples which was quite disappointing but I wasn't complaining because it was my first box. This box is a lot better than the last one I received because it contained two decent size sample. So what's in the box? Keep reading!

Review: Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Recently Urban Decay was released exclusively to Mecca Mexima and of course, everyone went crazy! I was not sure what I wanted to pick up but I knew I had to try their setting sprays. They have 4 different kind of setting sprays but I went with the All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray because I wanted something long lasting.

Update on my life

Hello my beautiful readers. I have yet gone MIA for a month now and I have missed blogging so much. Honestly, so much has happened in the past month. My personal life, family, work etc has definitely been overwhelming for me. If you followed me on my personal Twitter, then you would already know that my Mum was in hospital. It was very shocking to my sister and I because she is normally healthy and well. But let me assure you that she is okay now. She just needs to do some scanning.

My new job has also been very overwhelming me. The past two weeks, I have been up early from 5AM and doing 8-9 hours shift, so by the time I come home, I am very exhausted. I just want to relax and watch The Vampire Diaries on Netflix. I love Netflix so much. If you want to try out Netflix, definitely do their 30 day trial to see if you like it. I've already watched Prison Break on it and now onto TVD.

Some exciting news! I am moving on from my current department into a premium department (for reference, I work in hospitality). I am very excited to this new move but sad at the same time because it means I'm going to be separated from my friends I have already made.

Please send me some suggestions on what you would like to see on my blog. It's been awhile and I have no idea what to write about. I might do a blog post on my hair. If you follow me on Instagram, then you would of seen my new balayage silver hair. I'm not joking when I get compliment on my hair at least once every single day. Thank you very much to those who are still around and supporting me. I have been getting followers even though I haven't blogged lately, and I'm so grateful for all the new readers! I love you all. Until next time.

Empties #8

Hello gorgeous! I have a bag filled with empty products that I want to throw out. Some stuff you probably have seen before but that just means that it's my favourite product! Let's get right into it, shall we?

My go-to long wearing products

Hello my beautiful readers! I am back with a blog post for you all today! Today I am sharing with you my go-to, holy grail products when I know I have a long day ahead of me. I have been at my new job for a little over a month now, and I work at least 8-9 hours a day, five days a week. So of course, I want something that is long wearing every single time I go to work. These are some of the products that I find that lasts on me the whole day.

Skincare Routine

Hello my beautiful readers! I am FINALLY doing a post on my skin care routine! I have been wanting to do one for the longest time but I have been having trouble to find products that actually work for my skin. For reference, I have normal to dry skin. I have been having some trouble with my skin the past few months - it was very prone to eczema but I have finally got everything under control and could not be happier!

MAC Blush Collection

Hello my beautiful readers! Today I am going to share with you my MAC blush collection. I am very, very late on the MAC game as most of you know, because I will never pay the ridiculous price for them in Australia. So I did go crazy on them when I purchased these online over in the U.S., you can check out my haul here. Now in my collection, I have 4 powder blush and 1 mineralise blush. The powder blush here in Australia is $41AUD and the mineralise blush costs $45AUD. I also did not realise that I have 4/5 of the different finishes that the powder blush comes in.

Update | Why I've Been MIA

Hello my beautiful readers! I am SO sorry for being so MIA lately but if you did read my previous update post, then you would know that I had a job interview which I successfully got the job. I have been so busy trying to settle in, with lots of induction stuff and literally no time to blog!

When I finally figure everything out and can finally organise myself, I promise I will start blogging again. It hasn't stopped me from shopping for make-up though! I recently did a little Target haul, a lot of them are Chi Chi products that I am excited to try!

Thank you so much for being patient with me! Love you guys x

Poppin' Cheeks

Why hello my beautiful readers, and welcome back to my blog. Today I will be sharing with you these cute Clinique Cheek Pop! Isn't the name cute? You might of seen these in my haul some time last year when I did my first Sephora order. I own two of the four shades available, and I am looking into buying the other two for my collection.

January 2015 Favourites

Hello everyone! I cannot believe that the first month of 2015 just went by and that it's already February! I am going to share with you some of my favourite products for the month of January. I didn't really experiment much with make-up this month because all I did was work, work, work! So let's get right into it, shall we?

Collective Haul: Colour Pop Cosmetics & Priceline

Hello everyone and happy Friday! I have been doing a little bit of shopping lately so I decided to share with you guys what I have bought. First off, let's talk about Colour Pop Cosmetics.

Currently Carrying: Lip Balms

Keeping my lips moisturised is a must in my book. I can't stand the feeling of not having anything protecting my lips. My lips will feel dry and then I'll start licking it to make it feel moisturised, when I know I'm only going to make it worst. So I always carry a lip balm with me no matter what.

Real Techniques Complexion Sponge

If you have been following me for a while now, you know that I love the Real Techniques Complexion Sponge. I have never tried the Beauty Blender because I can't justify paying that much for a sponge, and the Real Techniques Complexion Sponge did just fine for me... Until they changed it.

Hello everyone! I am not one to get personal here but I thought I would share with you guys with what's going on my life. You know, so you can get to know me a little bit better. - Apart from working and blogging, I started watching a new TV show called Switched At Birth. I am so hooked on this show. Its so good. Have any of you guys seen it before? Also let me know what TV shows you have been watching lately. I know I'm going to start How To Get Away With Murder after this.

First Impression on the Tony Moly I'm Real Face Mask

I have been all about face mask lately. I decided to purchase some online a few weeks ago and the Tony Moly I'm Real Tea Tree face mask just came in the mail. I decided to do a first impression on it to share with you my experience with this face mask. First off, Tony Moly is a Korean brand that sells make-up and skincare products. I have heard a few of my favourite YouTubers mention this brand and was curious about their product.

Budget Buy: L.A GIRL Pro Concealer

I am always on a hunt for a good concealer. My all time favourite is the MAC Pro Longwear concealer but it's not ideal for everyday because it's full coverage, plus it's expensive. So when I heard everyone raving about the L.A Girl Pro Concealer and that it's similar to the Pro Longwear, I knew I had to try it out.

Review: It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness

Today I am reviewing the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Neutralising Correcting Cream. I bought this awhile ago during my Beauty.com haul. I saw a few YouTubers use this in their video and it looked amazing. However, in my case, it didn't work out that well. To find out why this didn't work for me, please continue reading!

Review: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal

I have talked about the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Opal so much ever since I got it. It is seriously the most beautiful highlighter I have seen. I have been into highlighters quite a bit lately and do want to try different highlighters from different brands. So if you do have any recommendation, please leave a comment down below on your favourite highlighter! But as of right now, Becca in Opal is my favourite.

Empties #7

It's been almost a year since I showed you guys my last empties post. I honestly hate collecting enough products that I have finished up to do these kind of posts because majority of the time, I just want to get rid of it and toss them in the bin! But I have finished quite a few products at the same time so I am going to show you guys before I toss it into the bin.

My January 2015 Wishlist

I have been watching a lot of YouTube videos where my favourite beauty vloggers shared their beauty favourites for 2014. Some of my favourite videos are from Nicole Guerriero, Jaclyn Hill and Casey Holmes. So of course I was jotting down some products that I really want after watching these videos. Bad, I know, but I just can't help myself. At least I only have a few products that I want to try, and not twenty products!
  1. Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer
  2. NARS blush in Madly
  3. NARS Radient Creamy Concealer in Custard
  4. Bobbi Brown Bronze Shimmerbrick in Beige
  5. Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Golden Light
I don't own anything from Bobbi Brown yet, so it would be nice to try out some of their products. What are some products that you're lusting over?

My top 3 Summer fragrances

We are half way through Summer here in Australia but we are only now experiencing the Summer weather. The past week, the temperature finally reached to 40 degrees in Melbourne. Who else was melting? Because I was!

I love wearing perfumes and I think I have quite a variety of different perfumes in my collection. Let me know if you would like to see my perfume collection! All three of these perfumes are very similar to each other, because I like wearing fruity/lighter scents during the Summer time.

Goals for 2015

Since it's a New Year, I want to set some goals for 2015. I'm not really a goal setter-type-of-person because I love just going with the flow, and do things whenever I feel like it. However, I want to change that.

Blog more on Miss Blushaholic

I have neglected my blog so much last year. I only blogged once a month or so and I really want to change that. I love to blog and I love make-up. I want to at least blog twice a week on Miss Blushaholic.

Be fit

I joined the gym six months ago and I still have a whole year's worth of membership left. I need to dedicate time to go to the gym more often, eat healthier and be more active.

YouTube channel

My dream is to start YouTube one day and I am hoping that 2015 is the year.

What are some of your goals that you want to achieve for 2015?

MAC Lipstick Collection

Happy 2015 everybody! This is my first blog post for 2015, and I thought really hard what I wanted my first post to be... And I have decided to do it on my MAC lipstick collection. I have been LOVING these lipsticks ever since I have received them. I know that I am very late on the MAC lipstick bandwagon but I couldn't justify paying $36AUD a bullet here in Australia. It's just ridiculous in my opinion. Now I finally understand what the hype is all about on these lipsticks. They have so many different finishes and a wide range of colour for everyone.
