Best In Beauty 2014

Hello my beautiful people! Happy New Year's Eve!!! Are you excited that 2014 is coming to an end? I am! If you have me on my personal Twitter, then you would know that an incident happened yesterday which made me really upset. But I have moved on from it and let it go. I want to be in a positive mood for the new year, and I am lucky enough to have my boyfriend who supports me, and makes me happy.

Anyway, can you believe that it's that time of the year again where we show the best beauty products of 2014? I remember just doing it not too long ago. I can't believe how fast 2014 went by. If you want to check out last year's Best In Beauty then click right... here!

Blog Makeover: New URL & Layout

Hi guys! If you have been visiting my page for the last few days, you would know that my page was under construction! I wanted to start 2015 with a brand new URL name and a new theme. I know that my URL is still quite similar but I decided to change it so it's the same as my Twitter and Instagram, "Miss Blushaholic".

I am hoping that the year 2015, I will be more motivated to blog more often! I know that I was on and off during 2014, but I really do miss blogging. I am hoping that Miss Blushaholic would grow in 2015. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me and my blog over the past 2 years! I promise I will try and be more consistent in the upcoming year.

I hope everyone have a wonderful and safe New Year! I love you guys xx

Weekly Favourites #1

Hello lovelies! I have decided to start doing weekly favourites to show you guys what products I have been loving for the week! This will also help me switch out products I will be using for the week too. I have way too many make-up that just sits there untouched for weeks. Since I last posted my haul, of course I was excited to try out some new goodies. So hence majority of the products that I am mentioning today are new.

My Christmas Wishlist for 2014

It's that exciting time of the year again! After my recent haul, I feel like I don't want any more make-up? Does that sound bad? Haha. Well actually, I am in the middle of renovating my make-up vanity. I purchased my first Alex draw last week and I am slowly trying to organise everything to the way I want it to be. I am switching out my whole vanity, so I am going to get another Alex draw and a table top. You know, the ones you see on Instagram and Pinterest? That's my ideal vanity - it's a lot more spacious. I already have so much room now. Anyway, let's get into the things I want for Christmas!

Collective Haul | Sephora, MAC etc

Hello my loves! Sorry that I haven't blogged in over a month. Although I have not blogged, I still managed to go shopping and did some MAJOR damage to my bank account. I have been on a high end kick lately. I've always been a Priceline kind of gal, and only some time would I spoil myself with something high end. But girrrrrrl, the amount of times I was in and out of Mecca is outrageous!

Recently Priceline held their 40% off cosmetics sale for 2 days only. Of course I went to pick up some things that I did not really need but wanted to try out. Plus I had my $30 voucher for so long because I was waiting for the 40% off cosmetics sale to use it, so I finally did!

Round up: Maybelline Mascaras

Hi everyone!
Today I am going to do a short review on the Maybelline mascaras I own. To be honest, Maybelline comes out with a WIDE range of different mascaras for different purposes. I have tried 4 out of the ones that are available so keep on reading to see which ones are my favourite!

Review: Maybelline Color Elixirs

Hi everyone!
If you follow me on Instagram, I just posted a photo of these Maybelline Color Elixirs Color Sensational Creamy Lip Lacquer (phew, that was a mouthful). These are my current favourite! These are my go-to when I do not want to wear a lipstick but still want some sort of colour on my lips.
Left to right: Nude Illusion, Caramel Infused, Petal Plush, Blush Essence, Hibiscus Haven

Top 3 Foundations

Hello my beauty lovers! Sorry that I went MIA once again, however, I am back to share with you guys my top 3 foundations! Now I have tried a fair share of foundations but I feel like, these are my go-to and I know they look amazing on me. For reference, I have normal to dry skin with a warm undertone. You will see that all three of these foundations have a medium to full coverage which is my personal preference.

First Impression | Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25HR Foundation

If you follow me on Instagram, I recently posted up this photo saying that I would be doing a first impression on the Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25HR foundation. I bought this foundation because Sandy from Eyes for Makeup raved about it in her videos! She said it's a good foundation for the Winter time and it doesn't make you look cakey. I was completely sold. Luckily for me, I bought this for half price because Priceline is having a 50% off sale on Rimmel London products. This foundation was on sale for $8.97 but I used my $5 birthday voucher so I only got it for $3.97.  I picked up 202 Nude because it had yellow undertone. The other one I was about to choose was a lot more pink (I forgot the shade name). Luckily I picked up 202 Nude because that's the shade that Sandy picked up too (I forgot which shade she was).

Collective Beauty Haul

Hello my loves! Seriously long time no blog - it's been three weeks. It was a pretty hectic three weeks for me. To be honest, I received most of these items three weeks ago and have not played around with them. Now that's saying a lot because I love playing with new make up as soon as I receive them, so I wasn't really in the mood for anything really. But I am back, and I can't wait to play with these goodies! Of course, if you want to see swatches or reviews just feel free to leave a comment down below. Let's get right into this haul, shall we?

Collection: High end and low end Bronzers

Today I am going to share with you my bronzer collection. Before I was into blush, bronzer was my thing! I could not leave the house without bronzer. I love how it gives your face some colour and dimension, especially after putting foundation all over your face - your face can tend to look a little "blah". Also I love how bronzers can make you look darker if your foundation is just too light for your face.

Perfect Flush Blush

Blush is one of my weakness, along with lipsticks. My Mum always ask me why do I have so much blush when I only have two cheeks. I just can't help myself sometimes and would add 4-5 blush into my shopping cart whenever I shop online. I know it's a problem so I am trying to fix it, but a girl can never have too much blush.

UD Revolution Lipsticks

Hello my loves! Sorry that I have been MIA lately. It has been exactly 2 weeks since my last post and I have missed blogging so much. Today I thought I would review the only high-end lipsticks I own as of right now. Would you consider Urban Decay high end make-up? In Australia, we don't stock Urban Decay which sucks, and I wish we did! After my Sephora haul post, a lot of you guys asked me to review or swatch some of the products that I bought. I am not one to splurge on lipsticks as I believe that there are great lip products in the drugstore but these have been talked about from some of my favourite YouTube Gurus.

Empties #6 (April Edition)

I am back with another empties post! Right after I posted my last one, I have used up quite a bit of things and since its a new month, I think it's the perfect time to toss everything out! So let's get right into it!

Today, I thought I would do something different and do a 'face of the day' post. I went to the City today to check out Emporium and was going to go H&M but I was too hungry to wait in line.

Sephora Haul via PriceUSA

Hello my loves! I hope you all had a great long Easter weekend! I was working throughout this Easter weekend instead of going camping like I usually would, but all that double pay makes up for it.

If you follow me on Twitter then you would know that I have been trying to find a mail forwarding site to make my first Sephora order. If you are on the same boat as me who is very, very skeptical about using a mail forwarding site, then I hope this post makes you more confident about using a mail forwarding site. I chose to use PriceUSA as my mail forwarding site after reading reviews, so here is my first experience with a mail forwarding site!

The Lipstick Tag

Sorry I haven't been posting a lot lately! I wasn't feeling it lately but I am back. I was tagged by the beautiful girls Sue and Tasha to do the lipstick tag. I have been really enjoying reading these lipstick tag posts because it shows how many lipsticks we own! I was a bit scared to do this tag because I know I own a lot of lippy products, but it's nice to know that I'm not the only one! So let's get into the questions, shall we?

Empties #5

I am so bad at doing an empties post. If you couldn't tell, I tried to do "monthly empties" but I can never find enough products to write about. So I am going to stick to these once in a while empties post, when I find enough products to talk about! I have thrown out a couple of things instead of keeping it to show you guys... But oh well!

New Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms

Okay so I was having difficulties with my photos being true to it's colour. As in, it looks normal to me but once I upload it - the colour just completely changed. So I had to figure a different way to upload my photos and changed the file type to make it work.Anyway, let's get back to this post!

Anyway I picked up the new Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms which just came out around last week I believe. I picked up the shade 205 Elusive and 215 Shameless.

Revlon claims that these give a 'matte finish' but feels like a 'balm that's beyond comforting'. Let me just say that these glide on like a dream! They do not feel drying on the lips at all! They definitely feel comfortable on the lips, just like it claims to be.

Massive Haul from iHerb, Priceline & Myers.

I know it's only Thursday but I have collected a few products that I wanted to share with you guys. I literally have a whole box full of some new goodies that I can't wait to try and use! First off, I received my iHerb parcel on Tuesday since Monday was a public holiday and they didn't deliver so I got it the following day.

Nail of the Week | Avenue Maintain by Essie

Before I had my current job, I was big on doing my nails. Every single week, I would change my nail colours. But then I had my job and I was not allowed to wear nail polish anymore. However, I still do paint my nails when I have spare time and wear it to work, because no one tells me off for it.

My Favourite Face Brushes: Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman

There is no doubt that the Real Techniques brushes are my favourite brushes! If you don't already know, Real Techniques was created by Sam & Nic Chapman (also known as Pixiwoo on YouTube).

Valentine's Day Gift: Katy Perry Killer Queen Oh So Sheer

This year for Valentine's Day, my boyfriend got me the new Katy Perry perfume — the Killer Queen Oh So Sheer which is limited edition. The original Killer Queen has been out for awhile now, the red one, and I quite like the smell but I never purchased it. When I saw this Oh So Sheer in the catalogue, my boyfriend noticed and he bought it for me. I never expected him to notice what I was looking at in the catalogue so it was really sweet when he got this for me.

Swatch: Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

AHHH I'M SO EXCITED!!! If you saw my Twitter, you saw that I was super excited with what's in my Mecca bag today! Mecca Cosmetica just launched the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette today in stores. They have a lot of new palettes that just came out, like the Smashbox Full Exposure Palette and the NARSissist Eye Palette.

Review: Sleek MakeUp Face Form Palette

If you don't already know, Sleek MakeUp is a make-up brand based in the UK and Ireland. It's very affordable for their quality. Ever since the shipping cost from the UK to Australia is less than $5 (from what I've purchased anyway), I made a few orders (check out my hauls here and here). So today I am going to review their  most popular Face Form Palette in Light.

Michael Kors Hamilton Wallet

I'm doing something kind of different today, writing a non-beauty related post! For awhile now, I have been really interested in the Michael Kors range since most of their bags come in the saffiano leather, which I personally love.

Collective Haul: Mecca, The Body Shop, Target etc.

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I've hauled something. I'm pretty sure I bought a lot more but I already started using them. So this month, I have purchased a few things that I have had my eyes on for awhile now, so I am going to share it with you guys!

Review: NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams

The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are the first matte lip product that I have tried, and I fell in love. This is my little collection that I would like to share with you guys and share my thoughts on these lip creams.

Review: L'Oreal True Match Foundation

Finally I am reviewing my HG foundation! You probably have seen this in one of my empties or favourite post, because I absolutely love it that much. I've never finished a foundation before until I discovered this one. Now that's saying a lot considering I have other foundations that I've tried.

Review: The Balm Instain Blush

I did a massive haul from The Balm during their Cyber Monday sale and you guys wanted me to review some products, so here I am to review these Instain Blushes! I find it a bit funny how my blog name is "Miss Blushaholic" yet I rarely post anything about blushes. If you saw my blush collection, you would be surprised at how many blushes I own. So maybe I should do a blush collection post? Only if you guys are interested.

Wish list | February 2014

Can you believe that January is over and now we're in February? That was probably the quickest month ever. Here are a few things that I'm eyeing at the moment.

Blog Makeover!!

Hi friends! For the longest time, I wanted to give my blog a makeover and today, I finally did it! I was browsing through Etsy and saw some cute themes and I decided to go with this one. I was torn in between a few themes because I am such an indecisive person! I'm still tweaking a few things but so far, I'm liking it. Anyway, I would appreciate it if you guys tell me what you think about my new blog make over! I love you guys! Thanks for reading :)

Review: Face Of Australia Lasting Looks Lip Crème

The other week, my best friend Nina from Haus Of Makeup and I went make-up shopping after work because we both needed it. We went into Big W and saw these cute packaging lipsticks from Face Of Australia. When Nina swatched them on her hands, we were both so amazed at how smooth and pigmented they were!

Review | MAC Pro Longwear Concealer

I recently purchased the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade NW30. This is my first ever MAC purchase because the prices of MAC products here in Australia is ridiculous. This Pro Longwear Concealer costs $32 AUD.

Best In Beauty 2013

Hi guys! Long time no blog! Well, first off, Happy belated New Year to you all! I hope you all had an amazing one - I know I did! I was in Lakes Entrance after Boxing Day for a whole week, and came back to Melbourne on the 2nd. Anyway, I've been meaning to blog but I accidently left my DSLR in my friend's car and didn't get it back until recently. I have missed blogging so much, so here we are with my "Best In Beauty" products of 2013.
