Pink Friday by Nicki Minaj

I first smelt this perfume at Priceline when it just hit the store so they were having an 'Introductory Offer' for only $49.99. When I first smelt it, I really liked it and wanted it so bad. But I'm the type of person who is sceptical when it comes to perfume. I was too scared that it'll give me a headache if I have this on me. When My Beauty Spot was having a 10% off sale for a week, I decided that I might as well get it. So I ended up purchasing this perfume for only $44.99 and it was free shipping. This is such a good deal, I got this perfume for half the price of the RRP.

Type: Eau de Parfum
Net weight: 3.4 fl oz / 100mL
RRP: $89
Top notes: Star fruit, Italian Mandarin, Blackberry
Middle notes: Lotus, Star Jasmine
Base notes: Musk, Vanilla, Woodsy Notes, Pear, Caramel

Review: Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover

Today I am doing a review on the Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. On my previous post, I did just buy a new makeup remover by Simple but that didn't work out well for me, so I had to go and buy another one—my all time favourite.

What they claim:
Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover takes off even waterproof eye makeup without leaving an oily residue. Forget harsh tugging and pulling. This ultra-gentle dual phase formula activates when shaken to remove all eye makeup—even waterproof mascara—without any greasy residue. It is ophthalmologist tested, safe for contact lens wearers and oil free.

RRP: $10.99AUD for 112mL

My thoughts:
This eye makeup remover was the very first makeup remover I tried out when I was younger and went through many bottles of it until I decided to try a different one. But no matter what, I always go back to this one. I am a contact lens wearer and this makeup remover does not irritate my eyes. I have been wearing waterproof mascara more often nowadays for work so I can skip wearing eyeliner altogether which is why I need something that can remove it. This makeup remover does the job very well, all I need to do is shake the bottle up and pour a little on my cotton pad, press it against my eyes and it does its thing. I do wipe my eyes a few times just to make sure that all traces of eyeliner or mascara are completely gone before I wash it off my face.

This product doesn't leave a stinging sensation around my eyes at all compared to the Simple 'Kind To Eyes' makeup remover. I'll probably do a review on that makeup remover as well.

I do recommend this makeup remover to those who doesn't like the stinging sensation because this one won't sting your eyes! If you are after something that can remove waterproof mascara then give this one a try because it does live up to its claim.
Have you tried this eye makeup remover?

Beauty Tag: This or That

  1. Blush or bronzer?
Ever since I started to wear make-up, I have always been a bronzer girl. I love how it gives my face some colour rather than just flat after applying BB cream or foundation. But over the past few months, I have been obsessed with blush! Still, if I had to choose out of the two, it would be bronzer.
  2. Lipgloss or lipstick?
Lipstick. I don't own many lipgloss and I don't like the feeling of my hair all over my lips.
  3. Lip butter or lip balm?
Of course I would choose lip balm. I must have one with me at all times so my lips don't feel too drying. I like the Nivea Fruit Shine lip balms because it gives a hint of colour to my lips!
  4. Matte or sparkle eyeshadow?
Matte - I feel like it's more suitable for everyday wear.
  5. Foundation or concealer?
Neither? Haha. I pretty much have clear skin but it's uneven so I just need something to even it out like a BB cream or a tinted moisturiser. I only put foundation on if it's a special occasion or I feel like I want to put in some effort when doing make-up.
  6. Eyeliner or mascara?
Mascara because I recently discovered a way to make my eye lashes stay curled all day as though I am wearing false lashes and that's waterproof mascara. I can skip eyeliner and just have mascara on. I never realised the difference between a waterproof and non-waterproof mascara. I have always heard that waterproof makes your lashes curled all day but I just didn't pay attention back then -- I guess I was too young to realise. Although waterproof mascara is a pain to remove!
  7. Loose powder or pressed powder?
Pressed powder because it's not as messy as loose powder.
  8. Brushes, sponges or fingers?
I always use a brush when applying make-up. Occasionally I would use my fingers to apply tinted moisturiser but that's about it.
  9. Waterproof or non-waterproof?
Ahhhh I don't know! Waterproof because it lasts all day but non-waterproof because it's easier to remove. Probably waterproof.
